When That Old

Lyrics

When That Old Raccoon Comes Home

Sometimes I feel wherever I go
No one knows where there going,
They just don’t get it they look so lost
But still inside I’m hoping,
I try my best but like the rest
I feel inside I’m losing,
It’s a heavy load down along dark road
That always seems confusing.

With my hope and dream’s
I’m up in the trees
Sitting up here alone,
Waiting for the day
When it’s all O.K.
When the old raccoon comes home.

Bridge:
Just when I think I’ve reached the top
And everything seems fine,
I realize just where I am
And find there’s more to climb.

When tomorrow comes this way again
I pray that things are better,
I pray for those who’ve lost there soul’s
And moods are like the weather,
Who again and again spend and spend
Not thinking of the cost,
While animals in there habitat are slowly dying off.

With my hope and dream’s
I’m up in the trees
Sitting up here alone,
Waiting for the day
When it’s all O.K.
When the old raccoon comes home.
